The Fantasy Collective - Pirate!

This April 20th, The Fantasy Collective finally opened!

We have this supercute Leaky Boat Dock Set - Pirate Edition as a limited duration offer for the event~

This item CANNOT and  WILL NOT be sold for at least 3 months after the event, so please be sure to pick it up while it is going!

Only 275L$!

Included in this package is:

Leaky Boat Pathway Prop: Just a path with no scripts, no boats attached.

Leaky Boat Dock Prop: A pathway with no scripts and a boat of the theme you purchased.

Leaky Boat Prop: A prop version of the boat, no animations, no scripting.

Leaky Boat Dock - StandDel: A version of the dock with themed boat attached that when clicked by anyone offers to rez them a matching themed boat which lasts 45 minutes then deletes, and will also delete itself whenever no one is sitting on it. Boats only work on LL water, and not in mouselook. Seats 4.

Leaky Boat Dock: Like above, except it will not delete itself when users stand. This is more beneficial for multiple stop travel. Still deletes itself in 45 minutes.

The prop variants are all modify, but due to the very real chance of breaking the scripts (any resizing or delinking/relinking will do this) for the working dock versions and what is rezzed, they are NOT modify. All of them are copyable.

StandDel version is for lessening clutter, but for multistop roleplay situations the regular version is also nice, it depends on how much you trust the users on your sim to not cause issue.

This set is drop and go, and there is no customisable options.

Teleport to The Fantasy Collective to purchase it today!

PSA: Customer Discount Revision - Coming Soon!

At Dysfunctional Designs, we have had a customer loyalty discount for quite some time as a bonus to our awesome customers.

Unfortunately, when we implemented it we had absolutely no idea how the store and sales would spiral out of control into a much bigger beast that it is today.

On the 21st of April (day after Easter) we will be revising and updating these discount tiers to be more evenly spread across instead of awkward increments and uneven tiering as we have now.

Our ultimate goal is to make a fairer, smoother spread bonus system that will benefit everyone in the long run.

The system now almost penalises our most loyal customers in comparison to those who haven't spent as much, and we wish to fix this for everyone involved. Since we started off with a skewed base, there is vast diminishing returns after the 10% bracket. As in, the next tier up was double the L$ spent, but only a 3% increase.

Regardless, we're giving our customers this full weekend to make any last minute purchases at these tiers before we decide on and implement the new ones on Monday.

For many users, the current discount levels are more in your favor than some of those post change will be. We recommend taking advantage of this weekend.

Additionally, the cap will continue to be 20% off, as we hope you understand that in most cases the proceeds are split between three designers and we hope to pay each of them their fair share.

(Yes, to clarify, that means when you spend 60L$, each of us is only actually getting 20L$ of that purchase, less for each tier of this discount system)

While we understand that some customers may be upset by this change and we do apologise for any undue annoyance it may cause, we would like to stress that this system is not something we have to offer, but we do it because we appreciate our customers. We wish for the least upset over this as possible, thank you so much for understanding.

Again, thank you all for continuing to support us, your amazing feedback and patronage allows us to keep doing what we do. We love our customers!

Dysfunctional Sandbox!

At Dysfunctional Designs, we're always trying to give a little back to our customers.

For example, have you visited our freebie area? We have something for everyone, and a fair bit extra for those who are in our store group!

As a part of trying to give back to the community, we have opened a lightly moderated public use sandbox next to our main store sims.

===================================

We're hosting a special "Inventory Cleaning Party" this Saturday the 12th from 8am SLT til 8pm SLT!

Everyone is welcome~

But please respect the rules below!

Nudity rule will be waived during the event, but only insofar as 'changing clothes' nudity, anything vulgar or obscene will be asked to cover up.

What IS this party? Well, it's just a bunch of friendly people hanging out at a sandbox to clean out our inventories in a lighthearted & enjoyable community environment.

If we do it together, it's bound to be more fun and encouraging for us to get it done than just doing it separately.

Hope to see you there!

(PS: We may be providing gifts for participants... just something to consider!)

===================================

The rules are simple:

Be respectful & courteous

No nudity or adult themes below 500m

No sex

No weapons or land vehicles

No griefing, hate speech, or being mean spirited

No selling*, spamming, advertising, or begging

And if someone is in the sky privately, please do not invade their space or bother them.

Scripts are allowed, but anything overtly laggy will be returned to you underneath the griefing rule.

We hope everyone will keep this an enjoyable sandbox to be in.

Return time is currently 6 hours, but should we note a bunch of items unattended, we may return them at our discretion.

===================================

We have also opened a Merchant Boardwalk on the Dysfunctional Sandbox!

To help pay just a bit of tier...

(as this is a full sim, and we're otherwise paying it out of our own pocket!)

... We're offering merchant buildings for rent~

These are the only locations where visitors are allowed to sell/advertise their wares.

Stall sizes offered:

(5) Two-floor loft-style buildings with a large second floor window and navigable staircase.

The allotted prims for this style is *50* and the going rate for weekly rental is *250L$*

(5) Double-wide open floorplan style buildings with a high amount of wall space and tall ceilings.

The allotted prims for this style is *50* and the going rate for weekly rental is *300L$*

(10) Single room style buildings with tall ceilings.

The allotted prims for this style is *25* and the going rate for weekly rental is *150L$*

These are filling up way faster than we expected, so if you are interested in one, please stop by in the near future!

However, before you rent, please READ THE RULES!

The rules will be enforced, and by renting you are consenting to them.

You can always get an up-to-date notecard of the rules by clicking your rental box!

===================================

***Special***

For the week of April 6th through 12th:

Rent any amount (minimum 2 weeks) and get 2 weeks free!

Dysfunctional Valentines Day!

Hunt is now over, thank you all for attending!

That day of roses and love is coming right around the corner, and this year we have a lot to love!

We love all of our customers who have supported us over the past 2 years, all the customers that have added up to over 4000 members in our store group, all the customers who have enjoyed our new store build, and especially all those customers who have been with us as far back as 2006!

To celebrate, not only will we be hosting our normal 25L$ Tuesday sale this week, but we'll also be hosting a mini hunt starting on the 11th and running through the 18th (Tuesday-Tuesday).

This mini hunt will contain 3 prizes - two for everyone and one especially and exclusively for group members only.

All you have to do is find the small candies (pictured in the above poster, petals and all) and click them!

They're all hidden in plain sight and not under/inside anything.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hints & prizes!

This gift can be claimed by everyone! It's found inside the WHITE chocolate candy~

Hint:

A true date also presents romantic wine.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This gift can be claimed by group members only! Dysfunctional Dolly Designs group members can find this inside the DARK chocolate candy~

Hint:

Turn down those red silky satin covers and snuggle up with the one you love in bed.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This gift can be claimed by everyone! It is found inside the MILK chocolate candy~

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope you'll join us in our event! It runs until the 18th at midnight at our main store only!

Please have courtesy and do not share the location of the items. I feel they're easy to find (in plain sight) and would love if our guests would keep the hunt a special event. If necessary from a lot of cheating, we will move the items & change the hints.

The items will eventually be for purchase after, but why not get them free now?

Repricing Feb 2014

About once a year, we go through and reprice older items that just aren't up to par with the quality we try to put out today.

I used to be of the philosophy that repricing would only anger people because they'd paid for it at the original price... But since then I have come to the realisation that if it was worth it then for that price, then little remorse can be had. Have to stick by your decisions & all that.

I now feel that some of our older products simply aren't up to par with our new ones, and I don't feel comfortable selling them for as high as they're marked.

As we are coming upon our 2nd year, we have just finished repricing items that I felt needed them.

I will be offering a limited time offer for anyone who has purchased an item on the following list at the old price within the past 30 days, that they may receive store credit in the difference of price. This includes inworld & Marketplace purchases, but the store credit is only redeemable inworld due to SL limitations.

To be able to claim the store credit, please fill out the form HERE.

Happy 2014!

We (still) Love Roleplay!

Did you know our store started out of pure necessity? In 2006, there wasn't much out there for the types of builds and items that Medi-Fantasy sims needed.

I began building because I loved roleplaying, and since then it has evolved into so much more, now with other awesome people helping me keep it going!

Two years ago this month, we reopened our doors after a long year hiatus doing everything in 100% original mesh! Keep an eye out for a celebration of our anniversary in the coming weeks!

Meanwhile, in 2014 (holy cow, 8 years later!) there is LOTS of creators just like me, who LOVE roleplay and while I do very little of it myself, I enjoy seeing the beautiful sims you guys create.

It is so inspiring to us, and encourages us to continue.

This month, over 50 of the best Medi-Fantasy roleplay creators are taking part in We Love Roleplay, an event which prioritises quality!

At 3pm today, the gates opened to over 100 fanatical customers eager to see all the wares.

We're happy to say, that since the beginning of this event, we are still taking part of it!

Our offering this month is the "Fabric Shop"!

An item highly requested, we finally obliged!

A 7 piece set with several texture options for most pieces, as well as an animated stool, each item only comes in at 1 land impact (!!!)

The regular price for our quality set is 645L$, but it is 25% off during this months We Love Roleplay, ONLY at the event location!

I hope you'll stop by and pick it up! It is a set that much love was put in to, and we are SO proud to offer it to you~
